Jefferson County Rescue Mission

At the Jefferson County Rescue Mission in Florissant, MO, we are dedicated to providing essential food assistance, shelter, and clothing to those in need throughout Jefferson County and parts of St. Louis County. We extend our care to the homeless, unemployed individuals, victims of abuse, children, the elderly, and families facing challenges. Our mission goes beyond immediate needs; we offer support to those seeking refuge from violence, overcoming substance abuse, or finding educational and job training opportunities. We have answered every call for help, albeit facing an increasing demand for our services. In addition to emergency food services, our organization provides community resources such as referrals for medical and housing assistance, along with initiatives like distributing holiday food baskets, school supplies during back-to-school time, and a free prescription drug discount card. Our food pantry and soup kitchen are open to ensure no one in our community goes hungry.
