Mobile Food Pantry

The Mobile Food Pantry, a vital initiative of the Southeast Missouri Food Bank, serves the Dexter, MO community by bringing essential food assistance directly to those in need. With over 300 mobile food pantry events organized each year across a 16-county area, we partner with local businesses, churches, and civic organizations to ensure that nutritious food reaches families facing food insecurity. Our mission is to provide immediate support through accessible emergency food distributions, allowing individuals and families to receive necessary food items without barriers. We invite anyone in need of food assistance to participate in our mobile pantry events, where we facilitate safe drive-through distributions. Each household is eligible to receive one box of food, with a maximum of two boxes per vehicle for distinct addresses, catering directly to the nutritional needs of our community. We encourage individuals to prepare their vehicles to safely transport their food items and to check our schedule for upcoming events in their area.
