Grass Roots Food Pantry

At Grass Roots Food Pantry, located in De Soto, MO, our mission is to alleviate hunger in the St. Louis area and its surrounding communities through the collection, solicitation, and growth of nutritious food for those in need. We provide emergency food assistance daily with prepackaged boxes designed to support families facing challenging times. Understanding that access to food is crucial, we also offer delivery services for individuals who are disabled and elderly, ensuring they receive their emergency food boxes right at their doorstep. Our dedicated volunteers strive to make a difference, providing transportation for clients who require help getting their food home. To access our services, individuals can easily apply by completing an information form and providing required documents, including a Missouri driver’s license, Social Security cards for household members, proof of income, and proof of residence. We are here to support our community in times of need, and we invite anyone seeking assistance to reach out and visit us.
