Community Connections Youth Project (CCYP)

Community Connections Youth Project (CCYP) in Chillicothe, MO, is dedicated to empowering older foster youth as they transition into adulthood. Understanding the challenges that come with this significant life change, our program offers essential navigational assistance and resources that foster independence. Through our services, youth receive vital social support, employment assistance—including resume help and job applications, as well as access to employment services—food assistance from our food pantry, and clothing access via our clothing closet. We also help young adults obtain their driver’s licenses, navigate legal issues, and apply for HUD housing assistance. Our commitment extends to connecting youth with physical and mental health professionals and providing educational assistance, including advisors, ACT prep, enrollment support, tours, and financial aid guidance. At CCYP, we believe every young person deserves a solid foundation as they embark on their journey to self-sufficiency.
