Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Cape Girardeau, MO, is dedicated to supporting the nutritional health of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children up to age five who face nutritional risks and financial constraints. Our comprehensive services include health screenings, risk assessments, nutrition education, counseling, breastfeeding support, and the provision of supplemental food to ensure families have access to what they need for healthy growth and development. In light of COVID-19, WIC continues to adapt its services to meet community needs, providing assistance through phone, drive-up, mail, or online where possible.
