Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Cape Girardeau, MO is dedicated to cultivating a network of passionate advocates for a just food system through hands-on education and community engagement. This innovative program empowers selected Fellows to spend six transformative months at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they gain practical knowledge in organic farming, food distribution, and ecological literacy. Through collaborative projects, Fellows will engage with local nonprofits to grow and distribute diverse crops, run educational initiatives in schools, and enhance access to healthy food in their communities. With a vision rooted in social, environmental, and economic justice, the Fellowship eliminates tuition costs to ensure that all aspiring leaders can participate, starting their journey by applying before March for the May to October fellowship experience.
