Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) in Wyoming, MI, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to seniors age 60 and older, as well as low-income families. Those eligible may single individuals earning less than $1,174 or couples making under $1,579 annually, with additional financial allowances for larger households. To qualify, applicants must provide documentation of their household income and enroll for a one-year period. Each month, participants receive a thoughtfully prepared food box filled with nutritious items such as cereal, canned vegetables, fruits, meats or peanut butter, juices, pasta, rice, milk, and cheese. For convenient access, food boxes can be picked up at UCOM, and for individuals unable to transport them, delivery options may be available. We strive to alleviate food insecurity and ensure that our community’s seniors and families have access to healthy sustenance.
