Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Located in Wyandotte, MI, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of low-income pregnant and breastfeeding women, recent mothers, infants, and children up to five years old who face health risks due to poor nutrition. By partnering with local Health Departments and non-profit organizations, WIC delivers essential food assistance and nutrition support to empower families in need. Participants benefit from supplemental foods, comprehensive nutrition education, and breastfeeding resources, all aimed at fostering healthier futures and addressing the urgent nutritional needs of our community's most vulnerable members.
