MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Wyandotte, MI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management options that align with their personal needs and preferences. We offer a range of services including supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which brings in-home messaging and clinician support directly to Veterans. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, alongside specialized programs for weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with their weight.
