Located in Westland, MI, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to improving the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant and breastfeeding women, new mothers, infants, and children up to age five who face nutritional challenges. Our mission is to combat malnutrition through vital services that include providing emergency food assistance in the form of supplemental foods, along with comprehensive nutrition education and breastfeeding support. WIC partners with local health departments and non-profit organizations to deliver these essential benefits, ensuring that families receive the crucial resources they need to thrive.
