MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Westland, MI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management options that best fit their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of services including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact when necessary. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is also available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges with weight management after attempting other program options.
