MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Troy, MI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management services that align with their unique needs and preferences. We offer a range of options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program for in-home support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app provides resources for personal management. Additionally, we recognize that some Veterans may require more intensive interventions, which is why we also offer weight loss medications and the possibility of bariatric surgery to address ongoing challenges with weight-related issues.
