Jodi Leib Coden, MA, RDT, CDP, CATP, understands that it can feel incredibly powerless for families to witness a teen shut down due to trauma, social isolation, and bullying, turning to self-harm or aggression as coping mechanisms. She recognizes that young people often struggle to articulate their feelings, and their behaviors frequently reflect their internal struggles.
