USDA Food Distribution Program

Located in Traverse City, MI, the USDA Food Distribution Program is dedicated to offering essential food assistance to qualified low-income individuals and families, specifically serving enrolled members of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and other Federally Recognized Tribes within a 15-county service area. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food to meet their basic dietary needs. In addition to emergency food distribution, we provide nutrition education to empower our community members with knowledge about healthy eating options and food preparation. We are committed to fostering a healthier future for those in our region.
