Open Door’s Client-Choice Food Pantry in Southfield, MI, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance and personal care items to individuals and families facing financial hardships. We offer free, nutritious groceries monthly to support low-income households, single parents, seniors, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and anyone else in need. Our welcoming pantry ensures that support is accessible to all, regardless of race, color, or religion. To receive services, clients must provide a form of identification, proof of residency, and documentation of household income. Additionally, clients can shop at our resale store quarterly with a voucher. In response to COVID-19, we have transitioned to a drive-up food distribution model to ensure safety. We are committed to alleviating food insecurity and helping our community thrive, one family at a time.
