With extensive experience as a facilitator for court-ordered supervised parenting time, they support separated and divorced parents in nurturing their relationships with their children. As a unique practitioner in The Thumb, Second has received specialized training in both Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for treating children with PTSD since 2019.

Kelly Trowhill is a compassionate Marriage & Family Therapist Associate who believes that each individual is the expert on their own life. In her sessions, she fosters an exploration of her clients' goals and ideas, inspiring innovative solutions that leverage their strengths and vulnerabilities to achieve desired outcomes. With a curious and attentive nature, Kelly partners with clients on their journey of self-discovery. Her diverse experiences, shaped by living in various cultures across the U.S., enable her to meet individuals wherever they are in their personal journey. Kelly’s extensive study of decision-making under stress and trauma, along with her experience in crisis situations, has equipped her to be fully present, actively listening and learning from her clients. Growing up in an environment that welcomed children feeling abandoned or unloved has deepened her understanding of empathy and compassion. Kelly's mission is to cultivate a safe and supportive space where healing can begin, focusing on issues such as anxiety, family conflict, and marital and premarital challenges through a variety of therapeutic modalities including Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Positive Psychology.
