Open Door’s Client-Choice Food Pantry in Royal Oak, MI is dedicated to providing essential food assistance and care items to individuals and families facing financial hardships. Our pantry serves a diverse population, including low-income families, single parents, seniors, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and those who are working yet still struggle to make ends meet. We offer nutritious food and personal care items on a monthly basis, ensuring that no one has to go hungry due to lack of resources. To access our services, clients need to provide a picture ID, proof of residency, proof of household income, and documentation of child custody when applicable. Clients can also receive a seasonal voucher to shop in our resale store. In response to COVID-19, we have shifted to a drive-up food distribution model to prioritize the health and safety of our community while continuing to meet urgent needs with compassion. We welcome all, regardless of race, color, or religion, and are here to support those in need during difficult times.
