Weekend Food Pack Program

In Portage, MI, the Weekend Food Pack Program, operated by Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes, is dedicated to ensuring that children have access to nutritious meals when school is out. Each weekend, with parental consent, participating children receive a thoughtfully prepared food pack at the end of the school week or summer feeding program, providing them with enough food to sustain them through Saturday and Sunday. Our mission is to fill the gap during those critical weekend hours, making sure that every child has the nourishment they need to thrive.
