Heather Dunivon is a compassionate counselor and LLPC with over 14 years of experience in sexual health education, dedicated to empowering women in their journeys. Her passion for helping individuals led her to pursue a career in counseling, where she has successfully obtained the Sensuality, Sexuality & Survival certificate, enabling her to provide specialized support for those whose intimacy has been impacted by cancer. This unique qualification allows her to collaborate closely with current cancer fighters, survivors, and their partners, addressing sexual health-related intimacy challenges. Heather earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Baker College and completed her Masters of Counseling program at Spring Arbor University. Her role as a Youth Minister working with 6th-12th-grade students has deepened her understanding of the teenage mindset, parental challenges, and the social dynamics that youth navigate today. With a heartfelt belief that relationships are essential for emotional well-being, Heather, alongside her therapy dog Rudy, is committed to partnering with clients to foster healthier relationships with loved ones, co-workers, and, most importantly, themselves. Regardless of their individual experiences, she is prepared to assist clients in addressing any issues they may face with empathy and expertise.
