Food Assistance

Located in Midland, MI, Food Assistance is dedicated to providing essential food support to low-income households through our vital programs. We offer the Commodity Supplemental Food Program, delivering a free monthly box of nutritious food specifically for qualified senior citizens, and the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), which provides a complimentary food box four times a year to eligible families. Each box contains a variety of items, including juice, canned fruits and vegetables, milk, cereal, cheese, starches, and protein, ensuring that all nutritional needs are met. To access these services, simply visit your nearest distribution site to enroll and receive your food box. If you are unable to pick up your box, feel free to have a family member assist you.
