Open Door's Client-Choice Food Pantry in Madison Heights, MI, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance and personal care items to men, women, children, and seniors facing financial challenges. We are committed to serving a diverse group of individuals, including low-income families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Our food pantry offers nutritious groceries to help those who struggle to afford enough food to sustain themselves and their families. Assistance is available monthly and requires proof of identity, residency, and household income to ensure that we help those in need. Clients also receive a seasonal shopping voucher for our resale store to further support their needs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adjusted our operations to provide a safe drive-up food distribution service. Everyone is welcome here, regardless of race, color, or religion, as we strive to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
