Located in Lapeer, MI, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is dedicated to supporting pregnant women, new mothers, and young children in their nutritional journey. Our program offers vital food assistance and nutritional education, ensuring families have access to healthy foods, breastfeeding support, and essential health care resources. We cater to low-income women, infants, and children under five, welcoming fathers, guardians, and step-parents looking to apply for their little ones. Through services like personalized nutrition counseling, breastfeeding assistance, and the use of an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card for purchasing nutritious foods, we strive to foster positive health outcomes for families in our community. Additionally, we provide immunization screenings and referrals to health and social services, all aimed at empowering families to thrive.
