Katlyn Taylor

Katlyn Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey toward becoming their most authentic selves. She believes that living authentically allows one to discover a clear path to what truly matters, creating a life filled with purpose and joy. Katlyn understands that this quest for authenticity can be complicated by various challenges, including life stressors, past trauma, and mental health issues. In her practice, she provides support to clients, helping them realign with their values and rediscover what is most significant in their lives, illuminating their path toward authenticity.

Specializing in child therapy for ages 8-12, she works with children on concerns related to autism, ADHD, and behavioral issues, while also equipping parents with essential parenting skills. For adolescents and adults, Katlyn focuses on anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ identity development, as well as promoting self-compassion and mindfulness-based coping strategies. Her friendly and welcoming demeanor fosters a calm environment for clients, whether they choose virtual or in-person sessions. Katlyn encourages clients to benefit from nature during in-person visits, offering mindfulness walks or meditation sessions near nearby parks, allowing them to deepen their therapeutic experience.
