Angela Hook is a dedicated LPC intern with both a BA and an MA, bringing over 16 years of experience in the mental health field. She has a passion for helping individuals from diverse backgrounds, drawing inspiration from their remarkable ability to heal and grow. Angela’s therapeutic approach integrates both traditional and holistic therapies with insights from current neuroscience. During the initial meetings, she emphasizes the importance of building a trusting relationship, allowing clients to feel comfortable and understood. While she welcomes adults from all walks of life, Angela has specialized expertise in areas such as trauma, men’s issues, and supporting those who identify as LGBTQA+. Her further specialties include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, Brainspotting, and the Comprehensive Resource Model.
