Nightingales Harvest is dedicated to providing essential food assistance and hygiene products to families battling cancer in Kalamazoo, MI, and the surrounding areas. Recognizing the critical link between proper nutrition, personal hygiene, and recovery, our unique food pantry specifically caters to the needs of cancer patients and their families. We are proud to be the only free cancer family pantry in this region, offering both perishable and non-perishable foods, personal hygiene items, and home cleaning supplies at no cost. Our compassionate approach includes personalized home visits to assess individual needs, delivering vital resources directly to households, and connecting families with additional community services. By collaborating with local cancer agencies, physicians, and hospitals, we ensure our services reach those who need them most, supporting patients not only during their treatment but also up to three months afterward. Together, we aim to alleviate the burdens of nutritional insecurity and promote healing in our local community.
