Andrew Mahoney is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 37 years of experience in the field, specializing in personal growth, identity, and achievement. He attended Western Illinois University, graduating in 1986, and has since dedicated his career to providing enriching counseling and coaching services to children, teens, and adults alike. With a diverse repertoire of therapy types—including Emotionally Focused, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Humanistic, and Existential approaches—Andrew is committed to nurturing potential and well-being in his clients. He has a particular passion for working with the Gifted and Talented population, offering insightful presentations, workshops, and keynotes that address their unique social-emotional needs. As a past Chairperson and board member of the Counseling and Guidance Division of the National Association for Gifted Children, Andrew has established a prominent reputation in the field. His work encompasses individual, family, and group therapy, alongside professional coaching services, both online and in person.
