Deb Crater, a Licensed Professional Counselor (MA, LPC), is deeply passionate about walking alongside those who seek support on their journey. In today’s world, many individuals encounter overwhelming thoughts and emotions, prompting them to seek counseling. Deb understands that clients look for guidance to develop new skills and gain meaningful insights. Additionally, some wish to integrate their faith with the counseling process, while others simply desire a warm and safe environment where their voices can be heard. Deb provides professional counseling informed by a Biblical framework, ensuring respect and compassion for each client's unique life story. She serves clients aged 4-64 and is adept in various therapy types, including Compassion Focused, Trauma Focused, Play Therapy, EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Deb also offers both telehealth and in-person sessions, and is actively involved in professional organizations like APT/MiAPT and EMDRIA. Qualified to provide supervision to LLPCs toward Michigan licensure, she also trains as a Consultant in Training (CIT) for those pursuing EMDR certification. Whether clients seek brief counseling to navigate the effects of current events or are interested in ongoing therapeutic support, Deb is dedicated to fostering an environment conducive to lasting change and personal growth.
