Audrey Mitchell

Audrey Mitchell is a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s degree from Loyola University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Hope College. She possesses extensive experience assisting teens, adults, and elders(65+) in navigating crisis interventions, trauma, depression, anxiety, and adjustment-related issues. Having worked in both behavioral therapy programs and residential mental health settings, Audrey has dedicated herself to helping at-risk youth and adolescents in the North Carolina woods. Furthermore, she has significant expertise in supporting adults facing depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, and challenges related to illness in hospital environments. As an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, she emphasizes the importance of sexual health in an individual's overall well-being. Audrey works with individuals and couples dealing with various sexual dysfunctions, including low libido, desire discrepancies, and issues related to sexual and gender orientation, among others. She believes that the journey of life is not meant to be navigated alone, and acknowledges the courage it takes to seek therapy. Understanding that a strong therapeutic relationship is crucial for successful outcomes, Audrey strives to create a safe and empowering space for her clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
