The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is dedicated to alleviating hunger in Grand Rapids, MI, by providing essential food assistance to eligible households in Kent County. We distribute USDA food on a quarterly basis through various distribution sites, ensuring that families receive nutritious staples such as canned and frozen meats, canned vegetables, dry milk, peanut butter, vegetable oil, and cereal. Our mission is to support those in need by ensuring access to healthy food, helping to meet their basic nutritional requirements and fostering a stronger, healthier community.
