The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is dedicated to providing urgently needed food assistance to low-income families in Grand Haven and the surrounding Ottawa County. As a federally-funded initiative, we understand the importance of access to nutritious food, and we offer free emergency food distributions up to four times a year at designated locations. Families in need can visit our Holland site during business hours to apply for services and obtain vital information about food distribution dates and locations. To ensure a smooth application process, we require documentation such as proof of income for all adults in the household, proof of household size, a photo ID, and the social security card of the applicant. Together, we are committed to alleviating hunger and supporting our community in times of need.
