Healthy Youth, Healthy Futures Summer Program

The Healthy Youth, Healthy Futures Summer Program in Garden City, MI, offers a vibrant and inclusive summer experience for young people ages 12-25 in Washtenaw County, Canton, and Belleville. Our mission is to empower youth through hands-on education focused on nutrition and physical wellness. Participants engage in interactive cooking sessions, physical activity meet-ups, and exciting field trips, all designed to promote healthy eating habits and an active lifestyle. With a blend of Zoom and in-person gatherings at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti, our program allows for flexible participation—individual sessions and full program registration are available. By attending sessions, participants earn Farmer's Market Tokens and have the chance to win prizes in our raffle for consecutive attendance.
