Healthy Youth, Healthy Futures Summer Program

The Healthy Youth, Healthy Futures Summer Program is an engaging, free initiative designed for individuals aged 12-25 residing in Flat Rock, MI, along with nearby communities like Washtenaw County, Canton, and Belleville. Our mission is to promote nutrition, physical health, and active lifestyles through educational workshops that focus on healthy eating habits and physical fitness. Participants can look forward to hands-on cooking sessions, fun physical activity meet-ups, and exciting field trips, all offered through a blend of Zoom and in-person gatherings at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti. By registering for our program, attendees will not only enhance their knowledge and skills but will also earn Farmer's Market Tokens for each session attended, with a chance to win larger prizes through our raffle for consecutive attendance.
