Sydney Tremont

Sydney Tremont, a fully licensed Art Therapist and LPC, graduated from Wayne State University with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in Art Therapy. With a deep understanding of grief and loss, anxiety, and self-esteem issues, Sydney is known for her empathetic approach to therapy. She welcomes individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and is particularly supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community. Sydney's therapeutic methods are versatile; she incorporates Compassion Focused therapy, Expressive Arts, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Feminist perspectives into her practice. By honoring the complexity of each person—considering their race, gender identity, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, spiritual beliefs, physical health, and sexual orientation—she tailors her techniques to meet the unique needs of her clients. Through art making and talk therapy, clients find her attentive listening and creative solutions invaluable. Sydney believes in creating a safe space where individuals can be their authentic selves, explore their true needs without societal constraints, and develop a clearer understanding of their inner voice.
