Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels in East Lansing, MI, is dedicated to delivering nutritious, balanced meals along with vital social interaction to senior citizens in Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties who are unable to prepare food for themselves. Our program ensures that every senior receives the nourishment they need by offering home meal delivery, which is coordinated through referrals from physicians, family members, friends, or the individuals themselves. After an initial referral, a Meals on Wheels representative will conduct a home visit to assess eligibility and gather dietary information. In response to COVID-19, we have adapted our service to deliver a week's worth of frozen and shelf-stable meals at once, ensuring safety and convenience for our clients. Meals on Wheels is committed to supporting our seniors with both food assistance and companionship, helping to foster a sense of community and care in their daily lives.
