Free Meals for Children

Free Meals for Children is dedicated to ensuring that every child in Detroit, MI, has access to essential nutrition. Our program, operated through the Parks and Recreation Division of the General Services Department, offers free meals for children up to 18 years old at various recreation centers across the city. We invite parents and guardians to visit our participating locations to pick up multiple meals as needed, supporting families in meeting their children's basic nutritional requirements. Together, we are helping to create a healthier future for our community's youth.
