MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Dearborn, MI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and to connect them with tailored weight management options that align with their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of resources, including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program for in-home support. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, empowering Veterans to manage their weight independently. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for individuals who require further assistance after engaging with the MOVE! program.
