Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program in Burton, MI, is dedicated to fostering healthy beginnings for families by offering essential nutrition and health education, nutritious food, and breastfeeding support at no cost to qualified Michigan families. Our mission is to ensure that pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as children under the age of five, receive the care and resources they need to thrive. WIC welcomes all caregivers, including fathers, grandparents, and guardians, to apply and participate. We provide personalized nutrition consultations, healthy food packages, breastfeeding education, and referrals to diverse services such as medical and dental care, health insurance, childcare, and assistance for housing and heating needs.
