Julie Honeycutt

Julie Honeycutt is a dedicated and certified IFS therapist (2011), recognized for her extensive training in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, having completed Level 3 training in 2008 with its founder, Dr. Schwartz. Her journey into the integration of IFS and a Judeo-Christian worldview began in 2004 while she earned her degree in faith and counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. Julie has had the unique privilege of participating in Levels 1 and 2 IFS training alongside fellow Christians, including laypersons, pastors, and theologians, fostering a community that openly discusses how the IFS model intersects with Christian beliefs. In her practice, she guides clients through stillness-of-mind exercises, empowering them to listen to both God and themselves as they navigate the journey of self-discovery and healing. By teaching the principles of 'taking thoughts captive' with compassion and embracing one's shadow self with radical self-acceptance, she facilitates profound personal growth.
