Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Bay City, MI, is dedicated to fostering a just food system through the empowerment of future leaders in sustainable agriculture. This innovative program offers a unique opportunity for selected Fellows to engage in an immersive six-month experiential training at the Allegheny Farm, focusing on organic food system education and practical applications that support community food security. Fellows will learn to cultivate and distribute diversified crops, teach food and ecological literacy, and enhance local food access through partnerships with non-profit organizations. By promoting food assistance initiatives, supporting farmers markets, and maintaining school gardens, our Fellows become advocates for a healthier and more equitable food landscape. Join us in shaping a future that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice in food systems, and apply by March for a transformative experience that runs from May to October each year.
