Juliann Li Verdugo

Juliann Li Verdugo, a passionate clinical social worker and therapist with an MSW and LLMSW, is dedicated to providing client-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed therapy. She has extensive experience working with both children and adults across various contexts, including depression, anxiety, identity, relationships, stress, and other mental health concerns. Juliann's clinical interests include Asian American mental health, LGBTQIA+ and multicultural issues, families impacted by mental illness, and supporting college student populations. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in cultural humility and emphasizes the importance of understanding how values and identities shape individual experiences. Utilizing a relational-cultural framework and an intersectional lens, Juliann recognizes the unique strengths, values, and lived experiences that each client brings, striving to form a partnership that best meets their needs. She holds client self-determination in high regard and is deeply committed to social justice and empowerment in her work. Juliann understands the courage it takes to be vulnerable and explore personal challenges, and she is honored to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, valued, and seen. Her priority is to be present with clients, tailoring each session to cater to their individual needs.
