Home Delivered Meals in Ann Arbor, MI, is committed to alleviating hunger and food insecurity among homebound individuals by providing tailored, nutritious meals right to their doors. Operated by the U-M Health Department of Community Health Services, our program serves 1-2 meals daily, Monday through Saturday, along with an extra sack lunch for Sunday. We offer a variety of dietary options, including Western, Asian, vegetarian, gluten-free, and liquid meals to meet diverse nutritional needs. After receiving a referral or meal request, we connect with the client within three business days to initiate the intake process. If eligible, an initial assessment is scheduled, typically leading to meal delivery within two weeks. Our dedicated social work team conducts reassessments every six months, ensuring continuous support and adjustments to meet the ongoing needs of our clients in the Ann Arbor area.
