Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as the Food Supplement Program (FSP) in Maryland, is dedicated to supporting low-income households in Westminster, MD by ensuring they have access to the nutritious food essential for their health and well-being. Each month, eligible participants receive benefits stored on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, enabling them to purchase food items from local vendors with ease and dignity. Our mission is to alleviate hunger and improve the quality of life for vulnerable families by providing the necessary support for maintaining adequate nutritional levels.
