The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also referred to as the Food Supplement Program (FSP) in Maryland, is dedicated to assisting low-income individuals and families in Waldorf, MD, access essential food resources for better health. By providing monthly benefits, SNAP/FSP empowers eligible households to purchase nutritious food through an easy-to-use Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, much like a debit or credit card.
