Time to Fly is a dedicated faith-based organization located in Waldorf, MD, focused on empowering survivors of domestic violence to reclaim their self-worth and sense of identity. We offer a comprehensive, free 3 Step program designed specifically for women and children in Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland. Our services include essential counseling, parenting education, nutrition education, daily life skills training, financial education, and computer classes, all aimed at fostering growth and resilience. Participants will engage in workshops that cover critical topics such as the roots and effects of domestic violence, the importance of speaking out, and understanding God’s plan for their lives. We also provide an After Care Program that addresses spiritual, emotional, and practical needs through life skills workshops and a robust support network connecting clients to resources for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. We offer childcare during sessions and serve up to 50 women and 15 children per training event, held quarterly.
