James Tanner is a dedicated counselor, LCPC, with over 30 years of experience in providing compassionate guidance to individuals of all ages. His special interest in working with very young children sets him apart in the field, allowing him to connect deeply and find mutually agreeable solutions to their concerns. Having spent over 20 years in a hospital outpatient child psychiatry department, James brings invaluable expertise to his practice. His role as a mental health consultant at a prominent teaching hospital pediatric clinic for four years further underscores his commitment to child mental health. In addition to his client work, James serves as a State-approved supervisor, taking great joy in mentoring fellow therapists to enhance their understanding of the therapeutic relationship.
