Young Parent Support Center (YPSC)

The Young Parent Support Center (YPSC) in Towson, MD, is dedicated to empowering families by providing vital support and resources aimed at fostering healthy child development and promoting economic independence. Our comprehensive and free services include transportation for residents of greater Dundalk, Essex, and Middle River, developmental childcare to enhance early literacy and school readiness for children ages zero to four, and a flexible adult education program with GED preparation. We offer career exploration and job readiness workshops, along with essential parenting classes such as the Nurturing Program and Parents as Teachers. YPSC also provides home-visiting services, recreational outings for families, substance abuse prevention classes, and supportive life skills training. We work closely with families through service coordination and case management to help them achieve their goals.
