Supporting Maryland Breast Cancer Families is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for breast cancer patients and their families throughout Takoma Park and the surrounding areas. We understand the challenges faced during treatment, and we are here to provide essential support that addresses the most urgent needs. Our programs focus on alleviating financial barriers by offering assistance in key areas such as treatment transportation— including taxi vouchers, gas cards, and metro passes— as well as family support services that help with meals, groceries, house cleaning, and childcare. Additionally, we facilitate access to vital medical services and treatment-related therapies that include funding for chemotherapy, radiation treatments, medical co-payments, and holistic therapies like acupuncture and massage. Our mission is to ensure that no family faces the hardships of breast cancer alone and to provide comprehensive support during their journey toward healing.
