Refugee Resettlement

In Takoma Park, MD, the International Rescue Committee is dedicated to helping refugees, asylees, human trafficking survivors, and other immigrants successfully rebuild their lives in America. We offer comprehensive support that addresses essential needs, including furnished housing, assistance with rent, access to health care, and nutritious, affordable food. Our programs also include English language classes, job training, computer skills education, and financial literacy, ensuring families have the tools they need to thrive. Additionally, we provide educational opportunities for children, social services for the community, and legal assistance for residency and citizenship. With warm welcomes at the airport from our case workers and devoted volunteers, we strive to make every refugee's transition as smooth and supportive as possible.
