MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Takoma Park, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans by providing comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran at VA facilities for obesity annually, ensuring they have access to individualized treatment options that align with their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of weight management solutions, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program for in-home support. Additionally, Veterans can utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management or explore medical options like weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those facing ongoing challenges with obesity.
