Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program in Sykesville, MD, is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of pregnant women, new moms, infants, and children up to age five. Through our vital services, we provide access to emergency food assistance, essential nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to additional programs that enhance family health. Our specially selected WIC foods are designed to empower mothers to nurture healthier babies while supporting the growth and developmental needs of young children. Serving the residents of Carroll County, we invite pregnant women, new moms within six months of delivery, breastfeeding mothers for up to a year post-delivery, as well as their infants and children under five, to apply. To enroll, simply visit our office with the necessary documentation, including identification, proof of address, income verification, pregnancy proof, and immunization records.
